Columbia Commons IPE Spring ’18 Seminar Recruiting Event
November 15, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Join us on Wednesday, November 15th for light refreshments and to learn more about this interprofessional educational opportunity!
The Commons interprofessional seminar brings together faculty & students from 9 professional health schools in order to learn how to support effective health care teams.
The seminar presents urgent questions about health, illness, and care while absorbing each of our many perspectives on these topics. The seminar runs for eleven weeks in the Spring semester. At the completion of the course you will receive designation as a Columbia Commons Scholar.
We invite students of dentistry, medicine, nursing, public health, nutrition, physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work & pastoral care to join in an interprofessional learning experience. Come learn about the course and how to apply.
Spring 2018 seminar topics include: Relationships of Care and Spaces of Care, Aging & End-of-Life, Health Care Justice and Care of the Underserved, Spirituality & Health Care, and Deconstructing Race for Health Professionals.
